Definition and classification fractal of plug bracket

See:1122

The plug bracket is a plug built-in accessory for connecting the power cord. Two pin plug bracket: there are two round pins, which are only used to connect the live wire (L) and the neutral wire (N), and are used for non grounding. Usually, such plugs can be inserted in any direction of the socket, so that the plug can freely change the position of the live wire and the zero wire. The general pin sizes are 4.0mm, 4.8mm and 5.0mm.

1. According to the profile

Three pin plug bracket: there are three round pins, which are used to connect the live wire (L) and the neutral wire (N) for grounding. Generally, this type of plug can be inserted into the socket in only one direction. The dimensions of general contact pins are: 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 7.0mm, 8.7mm

2. By material

Hollow plug bracket: the two round needles of the hollow plug bracket are generally made of copper plate, and the inside is hollow and filled with plastic

Solid plug bracket: The two round needles of the solid plug bracket are generally made of copper rods, and the copper is solid.

3. International Standards

Type A

NEMA 1 – 15 specification (15 A/125 V ungrounded in North America)

Type B

NEMA 5 – 15 specification (for 15 A/125 V grounding in North America)

NEMA 5 – 20 specification (for 20 A/125 V grounding in North America)

JIS C 8303, Class I specification (for Japan 15 A/100 V grounding)

Type C

CEE 7/16 specification (Europe 2.5 A/250 V, ungrounded)

The support of this specification is often called Europlug. It is a two pole non grounding plug bracket, which has two round needles with a diameter of 4mm. The two round needles are usually plastic coated, semi insulated, and can prevent accidental electric shock. This kind of plug bracket has no polarity and can be inserted in any direction of the socket, so that the plug can freely change the position of the live wire and neutral wire. This type of plug bracket can be used in Egypt, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Iran, Iceland, Italy, Jordan, Cameroon, Croatia, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Morocco, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Serbia Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Tunisia, Türkiye, Hungary, Vietnam and other countries.

CEE 7/17 specification (Germany and France 16 A/250V, ungrounded)

The plug of this specification also has two round pins with a diameter of 4.8mm and 4.0mm. The two poles are ungrounded. This type of plug bracket is only suitable for large E-type and F-type circular sockets, and there are several holes on the base of the shaped plug to serve as the horizontal connection between the two needle pins and the socket. The plug is specially used for electrical equipment with high power consumption, while it is used for electrical equipment without grounding in South Korea. This type of plug bracket can be used in Egypt, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Indonesia, Iran, Iceland, Italy, Jordan, Cameroon, Croatia, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Morocco, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Serbia Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Thailand, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Türkiye, Hungary, Vietnam
